    Thursday's scores: Caesar Rodney, Cape Henlopen play to a tie

    CAMDEN — Caesar Rodney High scored twice late in the second half before the Riders and Cape Henlopen played to a 3-3 tie in Henlopen North boys’ soccer on Thursday evening.

    Joseph Honore’s goal in the 68th minute knotted the score after a goal from Brody Hinkle six minutes earlier got CR within one.

    Trevor Sullivan netted the contest’s first goal, 14 minutes into the match, before the Vikings reeled off three unanswered goals before halftime.

    Goalie Grant Parsons made six saves for the Riders, who held advantages of 13-9 in shots and 4-3 in corner kicks. The tie keeps cR unbeaten at 3-0-1 in the North, 7-0-1 overall.

    Jake Hutchison made 10 saves for Cape Henlopen, which is now 2-0-1 in the North, 5-3-2 overall.
