No Sussex County Council Oct. 8, board returns Oct. 15

GEORGETOWN — The Sussex County Council has not scheduled a meeting for Oct. 8, making the next regularly scheduled gathering of the board is set for 10 a.m. Oct. 15 in council chambers at 2 the Circle in Georgetown.

The full agenda isn’t required to be posted until seven days before the meeting, according to Delaware code, but some items have been scheduled for the meeting and posted online.

On Sussex County’s land use calendar, three items, one in two parts, are listed.

Justice Boyz properties, 32605 Millsboro Hwy., is seeking to add vehicle maintenance and repair and fuel tanks to the property as a conditional use.

Another petition concerns a lot at 20093 Gravel Hill Road in Georgetown, where John Legg is seeking to update the zoning to LI-1 Limited Industrial from AR-1 Agricultural Residential and update the county’s future land use map to reflect the change.

The last of the items made public regards ACR Auto Center at 22035 Zoar Rd. in Georgetown, which is seeking to change its zone from AR-1 Agricultural Residential to C-3 Heavy Commercial use.
