    Next phase of 800-home plan for ex-industrial site

    How are they sure all dangerous contaminants are being removed. As time goes on, we find some forever chemicals cause a cancer cluster. Will the government keep a record of cancer rates in that area? When people buy these homes at top prices, only to find that because of an unidentified chemical, no one knew about will purchased back at the original price? Former industrial sites reclaimed may not be 100% de-contaminated. Who will be held responsible in 20 years when cancer clusters begin to affect the community? The builders should be required to purchase an insurance policy to purchase the homes back if it does happen. It should not be able to make a lot of money now and not have the responsibility to the homeowners who can not afford to relocate. Just my opinion
