my oldest was in foster care for 7 years went through 6 foster homes and multiple programs, when he ran away twice each time DCF didn't care they weren't out looking for him, it was me and his father. they gave me custody back because they didn't wanna deal with him. since he was 7 they labeled him a bad kid even putting him on soooo much medication. my son is so fuked up because what they put him through. they sux

why does the foster family not teach these kids some stuff. I mean , at least enough to get buy and at least survive. and yes , government should also help.
