The only time one of the restrooms should be closed is when they are cleaning it. Usually, that has always been done after school is let out unless there has been an emergency such as an overflow toilet. If an overflow toilet, then yes, it should be closed off immediately to address the issue. most cleaning of restrooms is usually done after school as well as any construction. If construction is going on, it's understandable that they might have to close off one of the restrooms to avoid accidents to children during the day.

Just anther proof schools are day prisons for kids. Guards, barbwire fences. Armed teachers and maintenance. Are the going to keep them from escaping. What are we afraid of anyway?
