That's really nice. I feel like so many health care providers and employers both do not take into account how debilitating things can be. Starting from school age, trying to not get behind when you have to miss school or classes for various reasons. Not being allowed to miss more than so many days of work without punishment. Just plain being miserable, even. takes a toll on job performance. Not all women have it so bad, but I know my sister had horrid cramps with heavy flow starting at age 9! And who hasn't had to figure out how to deal with leakage- having to change clothes or hide spots. And we still get things done.
