Be careful regarding all bone loss drugs. My mother took Evista for years in the ‘90s into 2000s. One day she became short of breath and was admitted to hospital. She had 3 pulmonary embolism’s in her lungs and she was hospitalized for several days as they worked to dissolve the clots. Had one broken loose she would have died. The cause…Evisita. My doctor prescribed me Acentol for bone loss. After taking for a few months I read about the jaw issue. My dentist said he could not address any abstractions because my teeth were fusing to my jaw. I immediately stopped taking and I was fortunate it diluted before major work was required. I decided weight training and walking were my greatest hope to keep healthy. Pharmaceuticals will kill or debilitate you. Some are absolutely necessary but choose wisely.
