Kalispell Glacier's Ben Winters commits to Montana State Football
KALISPELL- Kalispell Glacier offensive lineman Ben Winters announced his commitment to Montana State football on Monday. Winters made the announcement via X/Twitter. Winters joins Montana State's 2025 recruiting class after being a first-team all-state selection in 2023. Winters is listed on his social media as a 6'5, 300 pound offensive lineman who's primary position is at offensive tackle.

The Kalispell City Council is set to vote July 16th on whether to revoke a local homeless shelter’s permit. Residents have complained that the Flathead Warming Center has increased crime and loitering in the adjacent neighborhood. 3 inmates die in Cascade County Detention Center in 2 weeks
Three inmates have died in custody at the Cascade County Detention Center since June 29. Leon Laverdure, 51, died on June 29. Julius Lowe, 28, died on July 5. Andrew Swager, 58, died on July 10. Lewis and Clark Sheriff’s Office, which provided the coroner in the cases, confirmed the names of the deceased.
