Center seeks input from small businesses

Washington, NC — As part of the Pamlico Business Resource Center’s new partnership with North Carolina Secretary of State Elaine Marshall’s Rural Rise Program, Keith Hudson, Executive Director of the Pamlico Business Resource Center, has been invited to represent Beaufort County small businesses at an upcoming roundtable meeting with Secretary Marshall at East Carolina University. The roundtable will focus on addressing challenges faced by rural small businesses  and devising strategies to bolster their growth and sustainability.

To ensure that the voices of Beaufort County small business owners are fully represented, Hudson is actively seeking input and feedback from the local business community. This input will be vital in helping shape discussions and initiatives during the roundtable.

Secretary Marshall’s Rural Rise Program is committed to empowering rural small businesses by providing access to mentors, business counselors, and funding opportunities.

“The sooner we connect entrepreneurs with valuable resources, the more likely they are to thrive,” Marshall said.

Hudson expressed his gratitude for being chosen by Secretary Marshall to represent Beaufort County’s small business community.

“It is a great honor and a testament to the Pamlico Business Resource Center’s commitment to local entrepreneurs and their pivotal role in supporting the small business community in Beaufort County,” Hudson said.
