DJ and Food Truck Festival at Bradys Run Park to benefit Beaver County Humane Society

BRIGHTON TWP. ― The first DJ and Food Truck Festival will take place Aug. 31 at Bradys Run Park to benefit the Beaver County Humane Society.

"We have a food truck contest − Best Bite in Beaver County," spokeswoman Erin Gagric said.

Food trucks are J&J Catering, Fat Boys Food, Struggle Bus BBQ, Frank's Midnight Munchies, Sugakanes, Ming Egg Roll and Papa Duke's, Gagric said.

DJs who will be entertaining are Frank Berry, DJ TK, DJ Gio and DJ Durtybeats.

The festival starts at noon. Admission is free though attendees are encouraged to bring a canned or dry cat or dog food for donation to receive tickets for door prizes.

The festival begins at noon at Shelter #6 in the county park.

Raffled prizes include a $250 gift certificate for Hereafter Tattoo in New Brighton, plus gift certificates from Lacey’s Beauty Bar, Oram's Doughnuts, Taco Bell, an autographed Cam Heyward photo and more.

There will be kids' games, "with each child receiving a goodie bag and fireman’s hat from Firehouse Subs," Gagric said. "I will have K-9 units on site with a demo show by some officers and their K9s."

A cash prize cornhole tournament ($20 per team) and hourly 50/50 drawings will round out the fun.
