BEAVER ― Wine enthusiasts will fill the main street of Beaver on Sept. 14, sampling the pours from 16 Pennsylvania wineries.

It's the annual Beaver Wine Festival, from 3-7 p.m. on Third Street.

Each winery will operate tents, spread out on the street, offering tasting samples and bottle purchases of numerous varieties of wine to attendees with wristbands.

Presale tickets cost $25 at eventbrite.com , with the price $35 the day of the event, if still available.

Tickets include a commemorative tasting glass, and a sturdy, reusable wine tote. Wine pickup service will be available for ticket holders throughout the day (three bottle minimum) so there's no need to carry purchases around. Purchases must be picked up by 6:30 p.m.

Buskers will provide live musical entertainment, with many downtown Beaver shops and restaurants open for the event to satisfy food and shopping urges.
