    Can't-miss televised sports this week for the Pittsburgh sports fan

    Here are this weekend's live sports broadcast schedule highlights for the Pittsburgh area, along with the national network that will carry the game. Consult your TV provider (cable company or satellite service) for full listings and local channel numbers. Not all channels are available on all TV packages.

    The Pittsburgh Panthers are on bye this week. The Panthers will next play at the North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday, October 5.

    Major League Baseball's 2024 regular season ends when the last game is played on Sunday, September 29. The New York Mets and the Atlanta Braves will play a doubleheader on Monday, September 30, to make up for the two games lost due to Hurricane Helene .
