Boys Soccer
Evan Thomas, Moon Area
Thomas scored two goals less than a minute apart in the team's 6-0 win over Belle Vernon Saturday night in the team's first round match in the WPIAL Class 3A playoffs.
Aedan Costa, Moon Area
Costa tallied one goal along with one assist in the Tigers first-round win over Belle Vernon.
Tyler Guevara, Beaver County Christian School
Guevara tallied two goals off of headers in the Eagles 2-0 win over Riverview in the first round of the WPIAL Class A playoffs.
Robert McMahan, Beaver County Christian School
McMahan set up Guevara's two headers as he assisted the senior defenseman's two goals against Riverview.
Girls Soccer
Annabel Miko, Quaker Valley
Miko netted the Quaker's lone goal in the team’s 1-1 draw against Shady Side Academy on Tuesday.
Sydney Chontos, Beaver Area
Chontos found the back of the net twice while also tallying one assist in the team’s 5-0 win over Hopewell on Wednesday.

Ana Hahn, Beaver Area
Hahn netted one goal and recorded two assists in the team’s victory over the Vikings.
Lilia Battalini, Beaver Area
Battalini scored two goals in the team’s win over Hopewell.
Volleyball
Kailyn Connelly, Beaver Area
Connelly registered 32 kills in two matches this week. On Tuesday, she put up an 11-kill match with two blocks in the team’s three-set victory over Ambridge. Then on Thursday, Connelly recorded 21 kills in the Bobcats three-set win over Blackhawk.
Sophia Sharpless, Beaver Area
Sharpless put together two strong performances this week for Beaver Area. On Tuesday, she tallied 11 digs and two aces in the team’s victory over Ambridge. Then on Thursday, she recorded 30 digs in the win over the Cougars.
Jaedyn Brown, Beaver Area
Brown recorded 10 kills six digs and three aces in the team’s win over Ambridge. Then against Blackhawk on Thursday, Brown recorded 16 kills eight digs and one ace.
Zoe Ringer, Beaver Area
On Tuesday, the senior setter recorded 27 assists and one ace in the team's win over Ambridge. Then on Thursday, Ringer posted 41 assists, 11 digs, four kills and one ace performance against Blackhawk.
Sundi Fazio, New Brighton
Fazio recorded 14 assists and 11 aces in the team’s three-set win over Northgate. Then on Thursday, Fazio tacked on 12 more assists in the team’s loss to Avonworth.
Elina Antoniades, Moon Area
Antoniades put together a strong week as she collected 42 assists to go along with nine kills three aces and eight blocks. On Tuesday, Antoniades recorded 17 assists along with three kills and three blocks in the team’s three-set victory over West Allegheny. Then on Thursday, the junior put up 25 assists, six kills five blocks and three aces in the Tiger's four-set loss to Trinity.
Cross Country
Tyler Biss, Beaver Area
Biss finished in first place at the Beaver Area Cross-Country Invite posting a time of 16:24.22 Wednesday at Brush Creek Park.
Luca Flitcraft, Hopewell
Flitcraft finished in fourth place, posting a time of 17:01 at the Beaver Area Cross-Country Invitational.
Beaver Valley Cross-Country: Pair of Quaker Valley runners finish first at MAC Cross-Country Championships
Drew Steffler, Ellwood City
The senior placed fourth at the TSTCA Cross Country Championships at White Oak Park finishing with a time of 16:25.15 on Thursday at White Oak Park.
Ian Dilts, South Side Area
The freshman placed seventh at the TSTCA Cross Country Championships at White Oak Park in the Class A race posting a time of 17:44.60.
Grace Fritzman, West Allegheny
Fritzman finished in second place at the TSTCA Cross Country Championships Class 3A race, posting a time of 18:18.54 in Thursday’s race at White Oak Park.
Emma Palmieri, Hopewell
Palmieri finished in second place at the Beaver Area Cross-Country Invitational, posting a time of 20:45.87.
Rylie Teapole, Beaver Area
Teapole finished in third place, posting a time of 20:59.81 at Wednesday’s invitational.
Gianna Mosca, OLSH
Mosca finished in fifth place in the 2A race at the TSTCA Cross Country Championships, posting a time of 19:41.69.
