Mountain Recreation to replace Edwards Field House turf in July
Mountain Recreation will begin fully replacing the indoor turf at the Edwards Field House on Monday, July 29. The project is expected to be completed by Aug. 9. This upgrade marks the end of the current turf’s 15-year lifespan as it was originally installed when the Edwards Field House was built in 2009. To date, the 15,000 square-foot turf has provided a year-round space for countless rec district offerings and rentals for special events, tournaments, workshops, camps and more.

3:45 p.m. Colorado State Patrol trooper Gabriel Moltrer said that at least two people were transported to the hospital following the crash at the intersection of Colorado Highway 9 and Swan Mountain Road.
