NYSP: Local resident is one of two suspects charged in Jefferson County felony larceny case
WATERTOWN- A local resident is among a pair of suspects charged with felony larceny in Jefferson County, authorities say. Joshua R. Cox, 32, of Carthage, NY was arrested Thursday evening by the New York State Police (Watertown). Cox is formally charged with one felony count of grand larceny in the fourth-degree (property value greater than $1,000).
Two Jefferson Co. men charged after alleged copper theft at former prison
WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WWTI) – Two men from Carthage are facing charges after allegedly trying to take copper plumbing from the closed-down Watertown Correctional Facility. New York State Police arrested 33-year-old Donald Bishop and 44-year-old Zachary Guichard after both were allegedly found inside the former facility in an electrical room attempting to steal copper plumbing on Tuesday, August 27.
