    Beaver Falls concert series brings nationally touring acts celebrating classic songs

    BEAVER FALLS ― A Grammy Award-nominated group, an award-winning tribute band, a sisterly pop-country quartet and a Big Band-inspired group will entertain audiences in the 2024-25 Beaver Valley Community Concert Association season.

    The newly announced schedule:

    The seven-time Grammyminees and multiple Gospel Music Association Dove Award winners breathe new life into some of the most cherished romantic songs of the past 100 years.

    Nov. 18: Forever Simon & Garfunkel.

    Tribute duo performing classic hits like "The Sound of Silence," "Bridge Over Troubled Water and "Mrs. Robinson."

    April 3: The Hall Sisters

    The country-pop sibling quartet specializes in stunning harmonies, brilliant musicianship and family-friendly music with a repertoire including "Good to Be Alive," "Boondocks" and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy."

    May 1: Good Shot Judy presents "The Century of Swing."

    Drawing from the swinging cadence of the Big Band Era, the group's setlists include "The Century of Swing" and smooth standards such as "Beyond The Sea," "You Make Me Feel So Young," "Fly Me to The Moon" and "Feeling Good."

    Prices are $70 for a season subscription for all four shows; $10 for students. At the door each show is $25, or $5 for students. Cash or check only.

    "The BVCCA is thrilled to kick off our season with seven-time Grammy Award-nominated and multi GMA Dove Award-winning group Ernie Haase & Signature Sound who has sung and sold to millions worldwide," the association's co-president Rhonda Ficca said.

    "Forever Simon & Garfunkel, we know our audience will love because this music is a tribute, and the songs are timeless and never get old. The Hall Sisters are going to be spectacular with a vocal multi-instrumental quartet with a wide range of artists and genres that will have you dancing. Finally, we close our season with an eight-piece swing band Good Shot Judy to present “The Century of Swing” grounded in the Big Band Era that will have a foot in the past and one in the here and now. Don’t miss this season of world-class music at affordable prices."
