Hundreds of flights were either delayed or canceled over the past four days, since the outage occurred.

Robert Runion, the Assistant Airport Manager at the Raleigh County Memorial Airport said luckily, our local airport has not been affected.

“As of today, our airport has not been affected. Now, some of the connecting flights that connect to some of the airports that have been affected, there has been some delays or follow ups for them. But for the Raleigh County airport, our computer systems, for both the airport and the airlines have been operating,” said Runion.

Raleigh County Memorial Airport has flights direct to Parkersburg, West Virginia and Charlotte, North Carolina.

Runion said there have been some issues at the Charlotte airport.

Work on the CrowdStrike tech outage is still ongoing.
