Beaverton’s Patricia Reser Center for the Arts has announced an eclectic lineup for its 2024-25 season.

The season’s lineup brings nearly 40 different acts to the Beaverton stage, kicking off next month with a free Musical Playground event inviting children younger than 10 to try out a variety of musical instruments.

"Our north star for the 24-25 season is to create meaningful experiences for everyone in our community, filled with a sense of discovery and wonder,” Chris Ayzoukian, The Reser’s executive director, said in a release. “I’m thrilled to share it with you. The artists on our stage, in our gallery, and in our community, are awe-inspiring.”

Highlights include an seminar with Tony-nominated actress and Beaverton native Shoshana Bean, a cabaret solo show with NPR’s Ari Shapiro, a performance by nationally accoladed indie rock band Calexico, a history-lesson-turned-jazz-show by the Squirrel Nut Zippers and extreme behind-the-scenes stories divulged at "National Geographic Live."

Audiences will also enjoy a variety of holiday performances, including a spooky musical ensemble performance of Philip Glass’ "Dracula" the night before Halloween, a Hawaiian Christmas show with singer Kalani Pe’a and a Kids’ New Year’s Eve event.
