Portland Suspect Moyasar Osman Mohamed-Ahmed in Custody for Second Degree Murder Following Voluntary Surrender
In a turn of events connected to a recent homicide, Moyasar Osman Mohamed-Ahmed has been taken into custody following his voluntary surrender to law enforcement officials. On the afternoon of Monday, July 1, Mohamed-Ahmed contacted a deputy from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, inciting the arrest under a standing murder warrant. The Portland Police Bureau was subsequently alerted, leading to Mohamed-Ahmed’s detainment at the Multnomah County Detention Center on a charge of Murder in the Second Degree, as it relates to the death of Sean K. Smeeden.

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - The Thorns have announced the launch of the club’s first independent, stand-alone website, Thorns.com. “We are excited to launch Thorns.com and provide our supporters and community a place to be continually engaged with our club,” Alexis Lee, President of Business Operations, said in a release from the Thorns. “Our goal is to utilize this site to continue to provide great storylines and highlight our vibrant, unique and diverse Portland and soccer community.”
