At 11:45 A.M. on 8/20/2023, a 9-Year-old Female caller stated, "Her parents are fighting really bad and she needs help."

She stated, "Her father has been hitting her mother since yesterday." According to the child, the father brought the mother outside to continue fighting her, while the door closed behind them the 9-year-old did lock the door to keep her parents outside as she has a 2-year-old sibling inside the home with her.

The 9-year-old caller continued to say, "That her father is not using any weapons and does not have one at this time." Though the child has witnessed the father beating the mother since yesterday afternoon and it is getting worse this morning.

Around 11:50 A.M. Wilson PD were on scene of the call and made contact with the father and mother that were still fighting outside the residence.

The children are both safe and police are with the parents, with EMS arriving at the residence to check on the mothers' condition.

Praying for the mother and those children. It’s so disheartening when a man chooses to beat on a woman and even More disheartening/Disgusting/Sickening/Low down Disrespectful/Dangerous & Traumatizing that he would do so in front of children. How dare he or ANYONE think it’s Normal behavior….OMG how do a human Inflict so much trauma on the people they claim to LOVE🤦🏽‍♀️ Times like this….🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 m
