APD Asking for Help Regarding War Memorial Vandalism
Altoona Police are asking for the community’s help in identifying those who vandalized a war memorial at Gospel Hill sometime between June 28th and July 3rd. Police say the war memorial was painted with “Pharoah 2024” on all four sides, a guard rail was spray painted, a light pole electrical port was damaged, a concrete staircase was painted, and two capstones of the South staircase were destroyed.
