Stormy Pattern for the Midwest
One main low-pressure system stalls out over the Central Plains, keeping the severe threat reaching from the Canadian border and down into the southeast. On Tuesday, the severe threat will continue as the front lingers with an upgraded enhanced risk (level 3 out of 5). Hot temps have provided plenty of instability to help fuel storms that develop at any point in the day. All severe modes will be possible and any storms that develop can bring damaging winds, large hail, and even tornadoes (see above). More severe storms are expected to mix in later in the day.
