BECKER COUNTY, Minn. (Valley News Live) - One person is injured after a rollover crash south of Audubon early this morning. On July 4, at 1:21 a.m., the Becker County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a rollover motor vehicle crash on County Highway 11 and Blue Water Bay Road.
Reiles Acres woman injured in Becker County rollover
(BECKER COUNTY, MINN.) — A Reiles Acres woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a rollover crash early Thursday morning in Becker County. According to authorities, at approximately 1:21 a.m. Thursday, the Becker County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a rollover motor vehicle crash on County Highway 11 and Blue Water Bay Road, south of Audubon.

DFL state Sen. Nicole Mitchell has challenged the grounds for her April arrest on a first-degree burglary charge and her scheduled Monday hearing was postponed a week. In a Becker County District Court filing by her defense attorneys, Mitchell seeks to dismiss the charge against her on the grounds that she didn't commit a crime while inside the Detroit Lakes home of her father's widow, identified only as C.M. in court documents.

Motorcyclist killed in crash with USPS van near Wolf Lake
WOLF LAKE, Minn. — A motorcyclist was killed Saturday afternoon in a collision with a United States Postal Service van in central Minnesota.The Becker County Sheriff's Office says it happened just before 3 p.m. on County Highway 40 near Wolf Lake, southwest of Park Rapids.First responders arrived to find the motorcyclist dead at the scene. The driver of the van wasn't hurt.The sheriff's office identified the motorcyclist as 39-year-old Travis Michael Hanks, of Menahga.The Minnesota State Patrol is assisting with the investigation.

On Saturday, at approximately 2:51pm Becker County Sherriff’s Office received a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle on County Highway 40, approximately 3 miles east of the city of Wolf Lake. Emergency personnel responded to the scene where they found the driver of the motorcycle, Travis Michael Hanks 39 of Menahga, deceased.
