Structure fire reported in Beckley

UPDATE: Wednesday, June 5, 2024 @ 12:53 p.m. | BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) — According to the City of Beckley Fire Department, streets in the area were reopened, and the fire is under investigation.

BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) — A structure fire was reported in the Beckley area of Raleigh County.

According to a post on the City of Beckley Fire Department’s Facebook page, a residential structure fire was reported on Mills Avenue on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

Raleigh County Dispatch stated that the City of Beckley Fire Department and JanCare ambulance are on scene, and there are no road closures or injuries at this time.

The City of Beckley Fire Department advised people to avoid Mills Avenue and Patch Street until further notice.
