A new business is looking to fill 80 positions in Beckley

BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) – A new business is coming to Beckley and they are looking to hire.

Academy Sports + Outdoors hosted a hiring event for their brand-new location. They are looking to fill around 80 positions.

Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Brianna Woolever, Store Director for the Beckley location, expressed this opportunity is great for their company and the community.

“We are super excited to be coming to Beckley. The town so far has been awesome. We’re excited to be involved in all the community projects that they have going on. It is our ideal customer. Very value driven and very into the outdoors,” said Woolever to 59News.

Academy Sports + Outdoors is projected to open in the Fall of 2024.
