BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The latest coffee shop to pop up in the Beckley area, 7 Brew Coffee hosted a Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday with the Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce .

Situated off of Robert C. Byrd Drive near Staples and Burger King, 7 Brew Coffee has hit the ground running since the rapid construction of its new location.

Customers packed the drive-thru lane of the establishment on Thursday, eager to get their hands on a pick-me-up for a decidedly rainy afternoon.

Present for the ribbon cutting ceremony was Dr. Danae Johnson of Just for Kids Child Advocacy Center, who accepted a $2,000 donation from 7 Brew to the organization.

“At Just for Kids we depend on donations; we depend on contributions,” said Dr. Johnson. “Something like this it means the world to us, but it also means the world to the kids that we serve. Every little penny counts.”

LOOTPRESS was able to chat with Turner Garza of 7 Brew during the ceremony, who expressed enthusiasm at the prospect of growing the 7 Brew Brand in the Mountain State.

“We’re super excited to be in Beckley! This has been one of my favorite openings, we absolutely knocked it out of the park,” he said. “Our goal is to cultivate kindness through those little micro-interactions. So far, we’ve done an amazing job and I’m excited to see this grow and expand here in West Virginia.”

7 Brew Coffee of Raleigh County can be found at 4050 Robert C. Byrd Drive in Beckley.
