BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) – Your kid can now power up with reading at the Raleigh County Family Support Center.

United Way of Greenbrier Valley welcomes new Executive Director

The Family Support Center installed a Little Free Library courtesy of a grant that United Way worked out with Scholastic.

The books in this library box are Dog Man and Cat Kid books.

Trena Dacal, The Executive Director of the United Way of Southern West Virginia said this little library is a great supplementary location for the Raleigh County Public Library.

“(Some people in) this community may not have access to the (Raleigh County Public Library), and so this would be easier access to them to be able to just stop by, borrow a book, and bring it back at their leisure,” explained Dacal.

The little library is located on Antonio Avenue outside of the Raleigh County Family Support Center.

There are a variety of books available for different age groups, genders, and languages.
