Reno Firefighters Respond to Water Leak
Reno firefighters responded to a water leak. The leak was on the fourth floor of a retirement home. Firefighters say they stayed on scene to help mitigate the problem and make sure power was turned off. They also say several residents were displaced.
Man Arrested For Firing Shots Into the Air
On Sunday around 9:43 a.m. Sparks Police officers responded to 1400 12th Street for reports of multiple gunshots heard. Search underway for person reportedly missing at Topaz Lake
MINDEN, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — A search is underway after a person was reported missing at Topaz Lake on Sunday afternoon. Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office and other surrounding agencies responded to the lake south of Carson City at about 3:30 p.m. on July 21 on the report of a person who'd gone missing.

Dutch Flat residents watch the annual aquacade at the community pool in this photo from the July 23, 1959, edition of the Auburn Journal. A throng of 850, the largest crowd ever in attendance, enjoyed a beef barbecue dinner prepared by a committee of 13 people.
