Pennsylvania man loses $90,000 over one year in gift card scam
LONGSWAMP TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM)– Pennsylvania State Police say a man fell victim to a gift card scam for a year, losing thousands of dollars. State Police in Reading say they were investigating a theft by deception when an Alburtis man in his 70s reported a possible scam on July 1. Troopers say the man reported losing approximately $90,000 in Apple gift cards over the course of a year.
Johnstown Man Arrested In Altoona On Witness Intimidation Charges
A Johnstown man is back behind bars this time in Blair County after police say he reportedly sent threatening messages to a woman whom he previously kidnapped and held captive. Robert Stevenson-Watts was arrested in 2020 after authorities say he abducted a woman and held her in the attic of a condemned home in Conemaugh.
