'We will rebuild': Popular North Texas Caribbean restaurant destroyed by Tuesday fire
ARLINGTON, Texas — The owners of a popular Caribbean restaurant in Arlington say they plan to rebuild after the restaurant was destroyed in a 3-alarm fire Tuesday. Arlington firefighters responded to a blaze at One Love Caribbean Restaurant and Lounge in the 2300 block of S. Cooper Street around 3 a.m. Tuesday. The Arlington Fire Department says no one was injured but the building is a total loss.

Diner located in historic train station in Fort Worth closing after 14 years
FORT WORTH, Texas — T&P Tavern, a diner serving pub fare inside a 1931 train station in downtown Fort Worth, is closing after 14 years, the owners announced this week. "Serving the Fort Worth community has been an honor, and we cherish the countless memories we've made together,” a post on T&P Tavern’s Facebook page reads. “It has been a gathering spot for friends and family, a venue for celebrations, and a cornerstone of the neighborhood's history. Your support, laughter, and stories have been the lifeblood of our establishment, and we are deeply grateful for each and every one of you.”
‘Who is she?’: Fort Worth gallery to open show celebrating Black women artists
A new gallery on Fort Worth’s east side is about to debut its second exhibition, but unlike its peers, TUBMAN Gallery’s goal is not to sell art. The 600-square-foot space is a nonprofit opened by friends Matthew Nelson and Dante Williams as a vehicle to showcase what they describe as Black and brown artists without the financial pressures of traditional, commercial galleries.
