Devastating 9 Deaths Triggers New Deli Meat Recall In Texas
A Listeria break out connected to a variety of Boar's Head deli meats and the plant they were processed at has triggered a massive recall in Texas and across the United States after as many as 9 or more people have already died, and over 50 required hospital treatment. Some of the meats under the names Boar's Head and Old Country with a sell by date as late as October 17th that were processed between May 10 and July 29th are being recalled according to the United States Department of Agriculture.

Texas AG Sues Over Gun Restriction At State Fair
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is suing the City of Dallas over a change in gun policy for the upcoming State Fair. Paxton claims the rule that only active or retired police officers would be allowed onto the fairgrounds with weapons is a violation of state law, since the property is owned by the city. The change is being made after three people were shot and wounded at the fair last year. Both city and fair officials say they stand behind the new policy.
