PADUCAH, Ky. (KFVS) - The Paducah Police Department held a ceremony Friday to celebrate the retirement of one of their police K9s. According to the police department, they celebrated the retirement of K9 Joker on Friday, August 30. K9 Joker and his handler, Officer Will Hendrickson, graduated K9 training from Vohne Liche Kennels in the summer of 2020.

Eagles Shine at Thundering Herd Invite Despite Extreme Heat
Morehead State's women's cross country team finished second at the Thundering Herd Invitational despite blistering temperatures over 100 degrees. The Eagle women had three top-10 individual finishes, while the men's team placed third overall, just three points from second. Marshall dominated both races, especially the women's event, maintaining a solid lead. Conditions were so severe that 10 of the women's participants withdrew or dropped out, five from MSU. Notably, fifth-year runners Laikin Tarlton and Jacob Vogelpohl led their teams, with both finishing third in their respective races.
