Colchester-Milton Rotary sees nearly 50 donors through August blood drive
COLCHESTER — The Colchester-Milton Rotary, in collaboration with the American Red Cross, saw 43 donors at its Aug. 13 blood drive, at Our Lady of Grace Church in Colchester. Forty-one donors gave whole blood and two gave platelets, also known as power red — with the power red donations counting for two units, or roughly two pints, each — altogether contributing 45 units yesterday. Each unit has the potential to save three lives.
