Dream fulfilled: Museum opens in Halls
The Halls Crossroads Historical Museum is open for public viewing at 7119 Afton Drive in the Birch Tree Plaza. Hours are 10-4 on Wednesdays and 2-5 on Sundays. “We’re doing a series of soft openings,” said museum vice president Doris Smith. “The space is not large enough to accommodate one huge grand opening.” Then she mentioned something about a tent and fall (stay tuned).

2025 safety receives Tennessee crystal ball prediction
2025 four-star safety prospect Lagonza Hayward received a crystal ball prediction from 247Sports’ Tom Loy. Hayward narrowed his school list down to Tennessee and Georgia. He will announce his commitment on Aug. 7. Hayward officials visited Tennessee on June 21. The 6-foot-1, 200 pound safety is from Toombs County High School in Lyons, Georgia.
