Man dies after being found shot in vehicle outside Greenwood Elementary, Louisville police say
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man who was found shot outside Greenwood Elementary Friday afternoon died at the hospital. It happened just after 12:30 p.m. in the 5800 block of Greenwood Road, in the city's Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood, according to a news release from LMPD. That's where officers from the Third Division were sent on reports of a motor vehicle collision at that location.
Fulton Store Employee Struck by Hit and Run Driver
Officers with the Fulton Police Department were called Wednesday morning to 3J’s convenience store in reference to someone being struck by a vehicle. West Kentucky Star reported a store employee was in the parking lot checking the fuel levels, when she was hit from behind by a silver SUV that promptly left the scene.

Trucking Inc. of Broadview, Illinois, doing business as Blue Thunder Trucking, and its three affiliated companies — B.T. Russellville man arrested on drug charges from Todd, Hopkins counties
A Russellville man was taken into custody by the Todd County Sheriff’s Thursday following an investigation by the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force. According to a news release, Deputy Derek Baumann with the sheriff’s office and detectives with the Task Force located 40-year-old Thomas Morgan of Russellville at a residence off of Gibson Hightower Road in Todd County, who was wanted in multiple counties, including Todd and Hopkins.

Credit/debit card skimmers are being found by law enforcement in Kentucky and eastern Indiana, and three of the devices were recently discovered in Elizabethtown. “We’ve had at least 3 cases in the last few months of skimmers set up in local retail establishments at self check-out and even staffed check-out counters,” the Elizabethtown Police Department said.
