ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - A former Arlington Heights elementary school nurse is behind bars after being accused of misappropriating prescribed medications for students. Tory Eitz, 48, was arrested Friday on the following charges stemming from an investigation launched on April 22:. One count of official misconduct, a Class 3 felony.

The Board typically meets on the third Monday of each month, and per the Open Meetings Act they publish agendas to notify the public of items that are up for discussion and decision. The Board convenes its Committee of the Whole meeting prior to its regular board meeting. A frozen custard or ice cream business reportedly has expressed interest in acquiring the 27,000-square-foot Chase Bank parking lot at 5851 N. Milwaukee Ave., but the prospective buyer has not been publicly announced.
