PARKTON, Md. — A viewer in Parkton sent us this video of a black bear cub caught foraging in their back yard. Black bears are usually found in Western Maryland but they have been known to venture east and south into other parts of the state. On Saturday and Sunday, August 10 & 11, attendees of the Maryland Science Center’s annual Mess Fest embraced the chaos of creativity, donning paint clothes and dirty sneakers for a day of messy, interactive fun.
