Virginia State Police tried to stop a Nissan driving west on Old Keene Mill Rd. in Springfield at 5:14 p.m. on June 30 for reckless driving. Police say the driver refused to stop, instead speeding away. The pursuit concluded near Old Keene Mill Rd and Spring Street when the Nissan struck multiple other vehicles, and the suspect driver and passenger fled on foot.
