DC woman charged with aiding in 2023 escape of Virginia prisoner
ARLINGTON, Va. (7News) — A D.C. woman is facing felony charges in connection with the escape of an inmate at the Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC). Naseem Isaiah Roulack escaped the supervision of two officers at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, Virginia on August 13, 2023. He was seen that morning leaving a hospital bathroom, according to officials.

Construction worker struck and killed by vehicle in Alexandria, police say
ALEXANDRIA, Va. (7News) — A construction worker was struck and killed by a vehicle at a construction site Wednesday, according to the Alexandria Police Department (APD). New artisan shop at Cabin John
Dov & Company, the newest addition to Cabin John Village, is a popup shop showcasing the works of local artisans. The store is run by Colombian-born sisters Maria and Sofia Tapias, who create jewelry from recycled silver and other upcycled materials. In addition to their own line, the store features handmade jewelry from other as well as handbags, kitchenware, home decor, stuffed animals, skincare products, clothes and other goods from D.C.-area artisans. There will be weekly craft workshops, and the store has a permanent make-your-own jewelry bar. You’ll find Dov & Company in the middle of the Cabin John shopping center, between Jurisdiction Clothing and Rewild. If all goes well, it will be there at least through the holidays.

Adrienne Mendoza Milam, 48, is charged with three counts of 1st-degree assault, one count possession of a firearm with a felony conviction, three counts of reckless endangerment, one count of violation of a protective order and other offenses. .
