Property Tax and Rent Rebate Program application date extended
In January Governor Josh Shapiro announced the Property Tax/Rent Rebate program, or PTRR for short. With the program, hundreds of thousands of older and disabled Pennsylvanians will now be eligible for a rebate up to $1,000. This brings the maximum standard rebate up from its previous level of $650. Workforce NOW Presents Students with Scholarships at Quarterly Member Meeting
The Chamber’s Workforce NOW Committees and Board of Directors were pleased to present three (3) deserving students with scholarships on July 24th, 2024 at the quarterly member meeting. The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber in partnership with Go Virginia, Fredericksburg, Stafford, Caroline, Spotsylvania, and King George Public Schools, Germanna Community College and University of Mary Washington host an annual Intern Expo, each year in February. A scholarship application opportunity was offered to any student who attended the Intern Expo.
