Nebraska softball announces portion of non-conference schedule for 2025
The Nebraska softball team has announced a portion of their 2025 non-conference schedule. The team enters the season after posting a 30-23 record for the 2024 campaign. After seeing the same number depart the program, the Huskers have added ten new players to their roster this season. As of July 15, the roster features 24 players, with 13 returning players, six transfers, and four freshmen. The team announced four of the five non-conference tournaments they will play early in the season. Feb. 14-16: Troy Cox Classic – Las Cruces, NM Feb. 20-23: Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic – Cathedral City, CA Feb. 28-March 2: Wichita State Tournament – Wichita, KS March 7-9: Big Red Spring Fling – Bowlin Stadium The 2025 season will see the Big Ten welcome three new programs to the league: Oregon, Washington, and UCLA.
