    Bellbrook organization seeks food pantry donations

    DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A local community center is asking the public for assistance to help supply items for their food pantry.

    The Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Community Support Center is asking the Miami Valley to help with donations of food, personal care and more. According to the BSCSC, the organization feeds more than 200 people each week, which are mostly children.

    Although all donations are welcome, BSCSC is “dangerously low” on the following items:

    Canned fruit Canned chicken and tuna White rice Pasta and sauce Shampoo
    Jelly Tuna Cream soups Baby wipes Deodorant
    Hamburger Helper Pasta and rice side dishes Chicken broth Toilet paper Laundry detergent

    To drop off donations, you can visit BSCSC at 51 S. East St. in Bellbrook. The organization is open from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, but a donation bin for after hours is located by the front entrance of the location.
