BELLBROOK, Ohio ( WDTN ) — After a woman went on a rampage in Bellbrook, more than $10,000 worth of damages has been done to one man’s property.

Police say the incident happened Monday when a woman vandalized a Tesla ice cream truck while it was parked in the man’s front yard on Locust Drive.

“Just a nightmare; happened within 30 seconds,” said property owner Daniel Harres.

Cell phone video shows Herres chasing down a woman who vandalized his cybertruck.

The woman, with two children in her car, drove into his driveway and began smashing the windows of his vehicle.

“I’m thinking, you know, is it someone out there that doesn’t want me in business? Is it, you know, maybe someone a long time ago that didn’t like it. You know, all these thoughts running through my head,” said Herres.

That woman was arrested minutes later by Sugarcreek Township police. They’re still trying to figure out why she did it.

“I noticed right away that the person driving that car was someone I’d never seen before,” said Herres.

Herres’ cybertruck is part of his Cyber Cream Mobile ice cream truck business that began operating in late May, a first of its kind in the country.

Now, the truck is inoperable, and she says they will be lucky to have repairs done before the end of the year due to supply chain issues and specialty parts.

He says the estimated damages to the truck are well over $10,000 dollars. This is in addition to more than 30 events canceled through his busy season resulting in over $5,000 dollars in lost revenue.

That woman is facing misdemeanor charges.
