South Dakota’s team tied for second place for the sweepstakes award at the 2024 4-H Shooting Sports National Championships. Thirty-five youth representing South Dakota State University Extension 4-H competed at the national championships from June 24-28 in Grand Island, Nebraska. Sturgis Museum to unveil Scott Jacobs' ‘Rivals in the Dust’ painting
STURGIS, S.D.– The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum will unveil a stunning new painting by acclaimed artist Scott Jacobs. Titled “Rivals in the Dust,” the artwork celebrates American flat track legends Scotty Parker and Jared Mees, both nine-time AMA Flat Track Champions. The unveiling will take place at the museum on Monday, August 5 at 1 PM. The public is invited to attend, with tickets available through the museum.
