‘Anyone but Joe’ is the mantra among Miami-Dade Sheriff GOP candidates
If one thing has become clear as we approach the primary in the historic election for Miami-Dade sheriff, it is that all the Republicans in the race but one share a common theme: Anyone But Joe. No, that’s not about former Miami-Dade Commissioner Joe Martinez, who was arrested for the...
Chris Grier is fully dropping the ball with Tua Tagovailoa-Dolphins negotiations
Miami Dolphins general manager Chris Grier is playing with Stephen Ross' money. He is also putting his entire franchise at risk of sliding back into the bowels of the AFC East. We can debate the merits of a Tua Tagovailoa extension all we want, but the Dolphins can't afford to go back to the drawing board to find someone to lead the franchise.
Sixers Absolutely SWINDLE Caleb Martin From The Heat Which Also Means We Say Goodbye To Bball Paul Reed
OK DARYL. Just a week ago the Miami Heat had five-year, $65 million offer on the table for Martin. He signed with the Philadelphia 76ers for $32 million. Talk about a good ol' fashioned swindle. Especially for a solid starter who should slide right into the Sixers lineup quite lovely:
Heat finally sign Klutch Sports client amidst longstanding tensions
Klutch Sports is a sports agency founded in 2012 by Rich Paul, whose most notable client, LeBron James, did not have a happy ever after with the Miami Heat in 2014. When James left, current Heat president Pat Riley took the departure personality as he publicly expressed disappointment about LeBron's decision. In the years following the departure, Riley continued to make indirect comments about James' exit from Miami.
Heat Still ‘Favorite’ to Trade for 14-Time All-Star as ‘High-Level Player’ Sought
Recent years on the trade market have not been kind to the Miami Heat. They got a steal of a deal in 2019 by acquiring Jimmy Butler from the Sixers for the low, low cost of Josh Richardson, Hassan Whiteside and a first-round pick, but in the years that followed the record was pocked with misses. An overpay for Kyle Lowry. An overpay for Victor Oladipo. An overpay for Terry Rozier.
