New Orleans friends, family mourn death of former NFL player Jacoby Jones
NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Friends of former NFL player Jacoby Jones said Monday (July 15) they are still in shock after hearing of his sudden death. Jones was found dead Sunday, just three days after his 40th birthday. Jones’s mother told Fox 8 her son died unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep. The cause of his death remains under investigation, the Orleans Parish Coroner’s office said.
LSU RB Trey Holly Expected to rejoin team for 2024 season after court drops attempted murder charge
LSU running back Trey Holly is expected to rejoin the team and be available for the 2024 season, ESPN Baton Rouge's Matt Moscana reported Monday. The program suspended Holly earlier in the offseason after he was charged with attempted second-degree murder in connection to the Union Parish shooting on Feb. 9.
