Clearwater construction firm expands its services to plumbing
Home Love Construction, a Clearwater-based firm founded in 2017, is expanding another arm of its business to an adjacent field in the home services industry. Home Love Plumbing now has three trucks circulating neighborhoods around its headquarters on Main Street in Clearwater. Services include re-piping, sink installation, sewer line repair and water heater installation and repair.

Every month, the town of about 7,000 residents regularly snaps thousands of automated photos of people suspected of violating traffic laws. The money derived from six red light cameras amounts to more than 15% of the city’s total revenue, far higher than most other cities that run the programs.
Fatal Bicycle Crash at 16th Street North and 5th Avenue in St. Petersburg
Shortly after 7 a.m. on Friday, July 5, 2024, a red Dodge Journey struck a bicyclist at 16th Street North and 5th Avenue. The bicyclist later died at a local hospital. According to the preliminary investigation, the Dodge was traveling eastbound on 5th Avenue North with a green light and attempted to turn south onto 16th Street North.
