The Cannon Falls girls tennis team started its season with a triangular at Le Seuer-Henderson and the Bombers split their duals against the host and St. Peter. They lost to St. Peter 6-1 with the lone Cannon Falls win coming from Josie Sjoquist at No. 2 singles 6-3, 6-1. Livia Tennessen lost No. 1 singles 6-1, 6-0; Sophia Nerison fell at No. 3 singles 6-4, 6-0; and Miranda Mandelkow lost No. 4 singles 6-2, 6-2. The Cannon Falls boys soccer team is looking to take the next step with a majority of their team back from last year. Those returners include four seniors – Brandon White, Isaac Rapp, Cameron Addington and Thomas Coyle – as well as quite a few juniors who have been with the program a while.
