Brooklyn, IL – Two Hurt in Auto Accident on IL Rte 3 at Canal St
Brooklyn, IL (July 21, 2024) – A child and adult were hurt in a crash that closed down Illinois Route 3 for several hours on Friday afternoon in St. Clair County. A car and semi-truck crashed in Brooklyn near the area of Canal Street and the McKinley Bridge. The child and adult were airlifted from the scene. Illinois State Police also responded to the scene. However, they did not release any additional information regarding the crash or the severity of the child and adult’s injuries.

During the three-day camp, they learned about all aspects of aviation through a combination of hands-on experiences, panels with students and professionals, and presentations by special guest speakers. The highlight of the camp came on the final day, when campers and their families gathered at St. Louis Downtown Airport to close out their experience with a flight in the cockpit of a real plane.
