Fandango Founder J. Michael Cline Dies in Apparent Suicide Fall from NYC Hotel
J. Michael Cline, the founder of Fandango, tragically passed away after a fatal fall from a luxury hotel in New York City on Tuesday morning, authorities have confirmed. Cline, aged 64 and a resident of Palm Beach, Florida, was discovered “unconscious and unresponsive” at the Kimberly Hotel located at 145 East 50th St. in Manhattan. New York City police responded to the scene shortly after 10 a.m., where Cline was found with injuries suggesting he had fallen from an elevated position, according to police reports. Despite efforts to revive him, Cline was pronounced deceased at 10:30 a.m.

Con Edison will consider funding requests for specific programs and projects within the areas of interest, which include climate change and environmental stewardship, clean energy and technology careers, or social justice. As discussed in prior meetings, the Colony Pool side walls are crumbling and in need of replacement. The Committee requested the Township Engineer develop plans. A draft plan was circulated to the Committee last week, with updated plans provided today. Those plans will be discussed tonight so that we can move forward with the bid process and toward having the work completed in the fall. No decisions have been made at this time. This is a discussion to find the right answer for our community and our Colony members. Police Probe Sunset Park Stabbing Incident That Left One Man Injured
Police in Brooklyn are looking for a shirtless suspect who allegedly stabbed a man during an argument last week. Law enforcement sources said the assault unfolded on July 18 at around 8:30 p.m. on a sidewalk in front of 864 42nd St. in Sunset Park.The NYPD said a 47-year-old man was standing at the location when the male suspect approached him and an argument ensued. Police sources could not confirm what the verbal dispute was about, but it turned violent when the suspect slashed the victim in the lower back with an unknown sharp object.
Father, 2 kids killed in crash on Pennsylvania Turnpike
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A father and his two children were killed in a crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Lancaster County over the weekend.In a release, Pennsylvania State Police said the deadly crash happened on the Turnpike in the area of mile marker 268.7 in Penn Township, Lancaster County, on Saturday around 4:25 a.m. State police said the driver of a tractor-trailer hit the driver of a Honda Accord in the right lane, knocking both vehicles off the road. All three people in the Honda died, authorities said. Both vehicles were headed eastbound. LancasterOnline reported that the three victims in the Honda Accord were identified as 43-year-old Donnell Hickson, of New York, 18-year-old Decir Hickson, of Pittsburgh, and an unidentified 11-year-old girl. Their deaths were reportedly ruled by the coroner as accidental. Law enforcement told LancasterOnline that the tractor-trailer overturned on top of the Honda. The truck driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are investigating the crash.

Driver dies days after I-287 crash in Middlesex County
A 73-year-old Somerset County man died of his injuries five days after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 287 in Piscataway, authorities said. Bill Schocklin was driving south near milepost 8.8 at about 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday when when his car veered off the highway, struck a guard rail and overturned, according to State Police.

NUTLEY, NJ - Another great week of Soccer Camp returns to Nutley's Owens Field next week with Nutley High School Soccer Coach Mike DiPiano. For the past 14 years, DiPiano's coed soccer camp has become a township staple, with many participants eventually going on to play soccer in high school and college. Many later worked at the camp when they were in high school. The program is coed, for young people in grades 1 to grade 8. The cost is $150 for the week, which is lower than many of the soccer camps in the region. Camp dates are July 29 to August 1.
